Stakd

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains what information stakd.store handles and how. Stakd is a listing venue; most data comes from sellers (through the Stakd app) and from buyers who contact a seller.

Information from sellers

When a seller publishes a store and listings through the Stakd app, we store the store name, address (slug), bio, and listing details (item, condition, price, photos). We also store the seller's contact email, which is used only to forward buyer inquiries and is never shown publicly.

Information from buyers

When you contact a seller through a listing, we collect the name, email, and message you submit, plus a one-way hashed form of your IP address used to limit spam and abuse. We never ask for or store payment information — Stakd doesn't handle payments.

How we use it

Public store and listing details are shown on stakd.store. Buyer inquiries are forwarded by email to the relevant seller, with your email as the reply-to so they can respond to you directly. Hashed IPs are used only for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.

What's public vs private

Public: store name, bio, address, and listing details including photos. Private: a seller's contact email and a buyer's hashed IP. A buyer's name, email, and message are shared with the seller they contacted — not published.

Service providers

We use Supabase (database, storage, and functions) to run the service and Resend to deliver inquiry emails. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

stakd.store does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting data

Sellers can delete their account from the Stakd app, which removes their store, listings, and photos. To request deletion of an inquiry you sent, or for any other data question, email info@arfy.ca.
